Chon-Ji
(of heaven and earth)

  1. Begin in a ready stance, feet shoulder-width apart, fists held out at belt level.
  2. Turn ninety degrees left into a left foot front stance and do a left hand down block, yell with block.
  3. Raise left hand, aim, step forward into a right foot forward front stance and punch with right hand at chest level.
  4. Turn 180 degrees to the right into a right front stance, down block with right hand.
  5. Aim with right hand, step forward into a left front stance, punch chest level with left hand.
  6. Turn 90 degrees left into a left front stance, down block with left hand.
  7. Aim with left hand, step forward into a right front stance, punch chest level with right hand.
  8. Turn 180 degrees to the right into a right front stance, down block with right hand.
  9. Aim with right hand, step forward into a left front stance, punch chest level with left hand, yell with punch. (Below is the second half of chon-ji.)
  10. With left foot, step over into a left foot forward back stance, 90 degrees to the left and perform a left hand side block.
  11. Aim with left hand, step forward into a right front stance, punch chest level with right hand.
  12. Turning 180 degrees to the right into a right foot forward back stance, leaving the left foot in place, perform a right hand side block.
  13. Aim with right hand, step forward into a left front stance, punch chest level with left hand.
  14. Turning 90 degrees to the left into a left foot forward back stance, leaving the right foot in place, perform a left hand side block.
  15. Aim with left hand, step forward into a right front stance, punch chest level with right hand.
  16. Turning 180 degrees to the right into a right foot forward back stance, leaving the left foot in place, perform a right hand side block.
  17. Aim with right hand, step forward into a left front stance, punch chest level with left hand.
  18. Aim with left hand, step forward into a right front stance, punch chest level with right hand.
  19. Aim with right hand, step backward into a left front stance, punch chest level with left hand.
  20. Aim with left hand, step backward into a right front stance, punch chest level with right hand, yell with punch.
