Get involved in a committee:

publicity - help write a submission to the green editorial column to the OGB, make/post fliers for events, be a contact person for other campus organizations, design SEAC logo

recycling - one of our major projects this year; due to the popularity of the freshman recycling bins, we will hand out bins to upperclassmen in front of the pit (date TBA), spread awareness about Wake's recycling program, improving signs and bins outside to encourage people to recycle outside of campus buildings; encouraging recycling at home football games by working to get more bins in the stadium and collecting at tailgates

transportation - short term planning: covered bike racks, more bike racks, bike lanes, better accessibility for bikers on campus, promoting walking over driving. long term planning: rental bike program

planning - research new environmental programs and organizations on other campuses; help organize group events for SEAC, such as documentary night

food service - talk with campus grounds about how it can be more environmentally friendly (and perhaps a green alternative to starbucks); talk with shorty's about being greener; Brady and Kyle have spoken to Aramark, which is very interested in becoming a more environmentally friendly establishment; we hope to invite them to a future meeting
