Club Meetings
The purpose of our meetings during the semester is to organize volunteer activities for the club and to have fun socializing with friends. Here, members of WFU Rotaract are learning to make balloon animals. We used these skills to make balloon animals at the Winston Salem Health and Rehabilitation Center and Project Pumpkin.

Baking @ Joan's
One of our volunteer activities for the fall 2006 semester was baking cookies for the Ronald McDonald House, an organization that has provided housing for over 600 families from Winston-Salem and other communities in the past year.

  Winston-Salem Health and Rehabilitation Center
WFU Rotaract visits the Winston-Salem Health and Rehabilitation Center monthly to brighten the lives of the residents with our smiles, balloon animals, holiday cards, and more.

Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child was our largest volunteer project of the semester. Our dormstorming and packing party were great successes, with 25 boxes filled with toys, school supplies, and toiletries sent out to children around the globe.

Miscellaneous Photos
Here are some more photos of our Rotaractors during the fall 2006 semester.

Hotel Rwanda:
To commemorate Rotary's World Understanding Month this February, Rotaract attended the Founder's Day Convocation. The address was given by Paul Rusebagina, hero of Hotel Rwanda, whose experiences were the basis for the critically acclaimed film Hotel Rwanda nominated for at least 40 different awards.
