Instructional Technology Group Mission and Goals
The mission of the Instructional Technology Group is to provide faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences discipline-focused expertise in technology tools, procedures and resources to support the teaching and research mission of the College. Each Instructional Technologist is embedded in the day-to-day activities of their academic disciplines, enabling them to tailor technology solutions to their unique needs.
We will:
- Provide expertise and domain specific IT support to departments
- Advance state of the art IT in teaching and research
- Provide additional expertise in presentation and Instructional Design
- Create / maintaining departmental presence in cyberspace
- Provide IT service not supplied by Information Systems department
- Expande Inter-departmental collaboration and sharing of technology expertise
- Enhance the efforts of University-wide technology initiatives
- Advance the University with accessible Service Learning Initiatives
