Blurb: Sydney's interest in fencing began years ago in a dancing school around age 11, but she didn't actually begin to fence until her freshman year at Wake Forest University. She joined the team without any prior experience but is now thoroughly enjoying the sport and continuing to learn its art.

Study: French-History
Blurb: Miles has been fencing for almost 10 years. He competed for 4 years in high school in foil and has some experience in épée. He also enjoys long walks. Miles is currently in Dijon, France studying abroad and will return for the Spring 2010 semester to serve as president with Sydney.

Year: Junior
Study: History-Philosophy
Blurb: Fencing-wise, Thomas learned the very basics at summer camp in lower school. He then spent one year on the middle school team refining the basics. Later, he spent all four years of high school on the Varsity Fencing team serving as captain senior year. During high school, he regularly fenced against co-president, Miles Bodie. This is his third year with the Wake Forest Fencing Club.

Year: Sophomore
Study: Economics-Chinese
Blurb: Stefan has been fencing since he was in fourth grade. He originally started fencing foil but two years ago he switched to épée. In High School he also played Lacrosse, was involved in student government, and was on the Debate team.
