Make a Nomination for the Excellence in Entrepreneurship Awards

Student awards will recognize individuals who embody the entrepreneurial spirit in thought and action and who have launched new ventures in the scientific, artistic, social, online, and commercial entrepreneurship categories. Faculty and staff awards will be given for significant contributions to the development of new entrepreneurship programs, for incorporating entrepreneurship into liberal arts courses, and for student mentoring.

The Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award panel is now accepting nominations for student, graduate student, and faculty/staff awards to be presented at the first annual Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award Banquet on Wednesday, April 19 at 7:30pm.

To make a nomination, complete one of the following forms by Thursday, April 13 .

Awards will be given in the following categories:

Students (Undergraduate and Graduate) :

For a new venture...

• Scientific : utilizing scientific/technological innovation
• Artistic : that is artistic in nature
• Online : that is web based
• Commercial : that sells a manufactured product
• Social : in the not for profit domain

Faculty and Staff :

• Program Development : for coordinating a new event promoting entrepreneurial
                                       thinking
• Course Development : for the creation or teaching of a new course related to
                                     entrepreneurship
• Mentoring : for the guidance of student entrepreneurs or students with an interest in
                     entrepreneurship
