SIGN UP A TEAM FOR DESK 2012!

Discovering Education through Student Knowledge (D.E.S.K.) is an annual community service project at Wake Forest University that began in 2000. The goal of D.E.S.K. is to provide desks and school supplies for children in the Winston-Salem community who are in need of a place to study and learn in their homes. Each year, teams of Wake Forest student volunteers sign up to paint desks for elementary school children; and, this year, around 55 Old Town Elementary School children will be receiving desks. The 2012 D.E.S.K. event will be held on the Magnolia Quad of the Wake Forest campus on Wednesday, April 11th from 3:00-7:00 pm.

Each team will need to complete a registration form and turn in the $40 entry fee to BENSON 317 by Friday, March 23rd in order to be eligible to paint a desk. Act fast because spots are first-come-first-serve!!!

In order to sign up, teams must:
