HOW TO
APPLY |
![]() |
| The sooner you apply, the better. The final deadline is
January 1. Some students do get accepted who apply after January 1;
but the longer you wait, the more difficult it gets (Wake is among
the top 4% in difficulty for admissions). Application for Wake and
the Scholarships are now on-line. Follow links below to Wake Admissions.
High
schools are often slow to send transcripts and such, so it is best
to get that sent early. To
apply for Carswell, Reynolds, or other academic scholarships you definitely
must meet the designated deadline (see Financial Aid and Scholarships)
If
your senior grades are better than your earlier grades, be sure to
note that on the application and to have your updated grades sent
from your school. Your highest combined SAT scores count. Keep
us informed of your application progress. Send us a note or call us
when you have sent in your application. That way we can help see that
your application gets attention from the admissions office. Finally,
a visit to campus is recommended. This gives you a chance to meet
our debaters, attend a class, stay in a dorm, and get a first-hand
feel for debate and life at Wake Forest. |
