Amnesty International is the largest human rights organization in the world with 1.8 million members worldwide in over 150 countries and territories. Amnesty's mission is to help protect the rights that all humans are born with and deserve. Amnesty is committed to take a stand against the violations of these rights that occur every day. But to make a difference one needs to be aware of the problems.

WFU's Amnesty International is devoted to being a part of AI's education campaign: helping to spread awareness about human rights issues around the world. Awareness is the first step toward making a difference. We work to eliminate ignorance about human rights issues on campus and take active steps toward respecting, promoting, and defending them where we can.
