Energy Plan

Concept

• We will request the energy bill from the Reynolda Campus from the administration. 
• During the Fall of 2007, we will start a campaign to reduce energy usage on campus. 
• At the end of the semester, the difference between the two bills (Fall 2006 and Fall 2007) will be donated to a charity of choice.

Projected Earnings

Model:  Iowa State University
Background:  Their student body is roughly 4.5 times larger than that of Wake.  Their facilities management staff started an energy savings plan a few years ago. 
Worst year:  They saved about $355,000 for the year. 
Typical years:  They saved around $1.5 million for the year.
