Glenn Otterbacher, Campus Pastor
When my family moved from my hometown of Urbana, Illinois, to Winston-Salem in 2004, my wife, Debbie, and I had one infant son, Benjamin. He now has a younger brother, Christopher, and the four of us love our new home here in North Carolina.
After I received my Master of Divinity from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in 2001, I served campus ministries at the University of Illinois, Salem College, and the North Carolina School of the Arts before coming to Wake Forest. On November 2, 2008, I was ordained at Highland Presbyterian Church (USA).
I love the college years! It’s a time of great freedom and exploration, a time when we can discover so much of who we are and where we want to go in life. But it can also be a challenging time, when we can be overwhelmed and confused by all that life is throwing at us. My hope is to share the journey with those going through these years, sharing their ups and downs, and providing a spiritual presence for whatever their needs.
