WELCOME TO OUR OFFICIAL RUSH PAGE! Look here for news on fall and spring rush and calendars of our events! Please feel free to look around the website, stop by our lounge in Poteat, or contact one of our rush chairs (Bob Herr or Phil Lipman ) INTRODUCTION TO DELTA OMEGA: The Delta Omega chapter of Kappa Sigma has a long, storied history at Wake Forest. Originally founded in 1869 at the University of Virginia, Kappa Sigma Fraternity came to Wake Forest in the 1950s. Since then Kappa Sigma has represented the ideals of brotherhood, service and education. The brothers of Kappa Sigma are frequently rendered as both servants to the school and the community. Every year we have brothers involved in the Brian Piccolo Cancer Drive in events such as Hit the Bricks and Wake and Shake. Brothers also participate in Habitat for Humanity as well as making service trips to the Gulf Regions of the U.S. to help rebuild after the destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina. Brothers are also involved in other various groups on campus such as Wake Radio, varsity athletics, and academic honor societies. To be certain, the brothers of Kappa Sigma devote significant hours to social activities. The bookends of our fall semester are our Principals and Schoolgirls Party and our annual Christmas Extravaganza. Along the way, our brothers revel in the heavily anticipated tailgates before Demon Deacon Football games-undoubtedly the premier pre-game events. The spring semester consists of commensurate social events, including Cabfare, Golf Party and the infamous Snakebite. “Five,” our year end party, consistently draws rave reviews. We at Kappa Sigma would like to cordially welcome you to Wake Forest. We encourage you to take advantage of the numerous opportunities availing themselves to you, and we hope to meet each of you at any of our well-publicized events. If you stroll past Benson, there are usually at least five of our brothers circled around the patio. Good luck and welcome. RUSH CALENDARS: TBA
