Welcome new students!
Becky Hartzog, campus minister, and the BSU council join all BSU upperclassmen in welcoming our new freshmen, the class of 2011, to campus. We are anxiously awaiting your arrival, and have many fun things planned for you. We will meet many of you at Preschool before orientation, but if we don't see you then, orientation will provide many opportunities for freshmen to come and see what BSU is all about. One of the first opportunities will be our annual freshmen ice cream social. It will be held on Tuesday, August 28 at 6:00 PM in the courtyard of Kitchin House, near the BSU Lounge. If it rains, we will have it in the BSU Lounge. Churches from the area will provide homemade ice cream. Another opportunity will be the annual Welcome to Wake retreat. Freshmen will have the chance to spend the weekend with their fellow freshmen BSUers and the BSU Council. It will held on August 31-September 1 at the Francis House in Hickory. We will leave after classes on Friday and will be back before the Boston College game begins on TV. More information will be provided as soon as possible.
The BSU website will be updated with important information regarding the activities of the Wake Forest Baptist Student Union.
